Training for professionals

I have over 30 years experience of delivering high quality training to other professionals- including within the NHS, education, social services and the criminal justice system.

I currently run online and in person training sessions for professionals. If you are an organisation looking to train a group of staff then please contact me for a price, or I run regular training sessions for individuals to book onto that will be displayed on this page.

The training sessions I currently offer are:

Autistic burnout and recovery - This is a 3 hour (can be expanded) CPD accredited course that looks at what autistic burnout is, but specifically how it presents in autistic people  It will also look at the main causes, signs and then looks at what will help individuals with a recovery journey.

​

Understanding PDA - This is a 2 hour training session looking at the basics of what PDA is and how to support the needs of a PDA child or young person in education settings or in the home.

​

PDA, Burnout and Recovery - This is a 4 hour training course (9.30am - 1,30) that covers understanding PDA, what leads to PDA burnout and what can help with recovery. Suitable for teachers, SEN staff, social workers, mental health professionals, etc.

​Understanding Neurodivergence and the Neurodiversity Paradigm- This is a 2 hour training session looking at the neurodiversity paradigm and the importance of understanding neurodivergence (including autism, ADHD, AuDHD, PDA and other neurodivergence) and what we can do to make environments more inclusive and safer.​​​

​

Extreme AuDHD burnout crisis in adults -This 2 hour training session is aimed at  professionals working with AuDHD adults, looking at how and why some who are AuDHD reach a level of crisis that can lead to hospitalisation.
